IN-STALL is a proposal for a collapsible degree show stand, designed to showcase the work of Interior and Environmental graduates. The stand has been designed to fold down, wheel away and then be reinstalled in another location. Taking inspiration from the material palette historically found at Dundee Docks, the main point of growth and an exchange of knowledge, the stand would be created using plywood, metal, rope and sail fabric. Designed to use the minimum amount of material, the stand folds out of one standard sheet of plywood. Alongside this, both students’ visuals will be printed on sail fabric which will be cut in two, minimising the product waste. Therefore, this design would successfully FOLD DOWN, DISPLAY, FOLD UP, WHEEL AWAY.
